Based in Paeroa at head office, Tane has been part of the AgriSea family since its inception. From seaweed harvesting around some of our most amazing coastline’s to learning everything about the business from the ground up this has been a life long passion for Tane and his family.

Tane supports the internal teams, builds research relationships, engages with our farming communities and manages our raw resource across New Zealand. Tane readily grasps future opportunities in both the Seaweed Industry and Primary sectors in New Zealand. We have known the value seaweed has on our primary industries for decades and we are fortunate to do the work we do in supporting the growth, research and understanding by collaborative relationships with great like-minded people and companies.

We are excited about the future and the support AgriSea brings to our communities.

I am an outgoing nerd at heart, with a passion for people, gardening, and hiking. After studying business management at the University of Waikato and meeting my Kiwi husband, we headed over to the beautiful Haukari in 2017. We are honoured to live on a small lifestyle block with a few sheep, goats and dogs in the beautiful Karangahake (I am sure we would own a zoo if we could). I have had the privilege to live in three different countries (in three different continents), and value the life experiences I have gained.

Over the last few years I have loved learning from my husband and friends about farm life and the agricultural industry.

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado in the USA. I moved to NZ with my Kiwi partner in 2013 when he took on a new role with a company in AKL. My job with AgriSea has given us the opportunity to move out of the city and we love it.

Growing up, my surroundings were mountains and rivers, so I love the walking tracks through the Karangahake Gorge. I also enjoy gardening, reading and getting out on the boat. We also own a motorcycle, so we get out with our friends and tour NZ whenever possible. I’ve been fortunate enough to ride around most of the country with just a few locations still on my list to visit.
